s Energy Maximization & Business Model

ABSTRACT

  • The primary objective is to maximize the energy collected from the sunlight saved to the Jackery battery by adding reflection(s) oriented to the solar panel, finding the optimal angle of the solar panel(s) according to the angle from the ground to the sun rays.

  • In addition, we tested running and surge power of different household appliances to have an idea on what kind of appliances need more power, identified the most reliable rechargeable batteries (such as AA, AAA, AAAA, C, SC, etc.), and rechargeable battery charger in the most recent market to help consumers to make better decisions.

  • Based on our findings, we sketched a business model that is more applicable to real life.

  • Lastly, we concluded the project and mentioned some potential related future works.

MOTIVATION

We have been relying on fossil fuels or major energy providers (e.g., Entergy) for centuries.


When there is a power outage because of war, hurricane, or other factors, we do not have an alternative plan to help ourselves and others.


Reusable energy that can be collected in the household units could be the solution.


Solar energy seems to be the reusable energy that is accessible to most of the household.
